Our Story
Aeroplane Software was founded in the Fall of 2006 for the purpose of improving higher education through open source software systems.
Zach A. Thomas is a software engineer and an expert on Sakai, an open source system for teaching and collaboration over the Web. In May of 2006, Zach became one of the inaugural group of Sakai Fellows.
Zach holds a B.A. in English and an M.S. of Software Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
